Everyone told us that the first year of marriage is one of the hardest. So the whole first year we were wondering when the "hard" parts were coming. They never did. Then year two we were told, "Oh you just wait til you get a kid that's when it really gets tough." Were still waiting.
Every year that goes by gets better and better for us. Sure, everyone has their hard things and tough times they have to get through, but I still look forward to every single day with Jay. He is the most caring, wonderful father and husband I could have ever dreamed of. We have been together for 5 years and both of us still consider us in the "honeymoon phase."
I surprised Jay with couples massages and dinner this weekend, it was wonderful and much needed time together. Here's to hoping the honeymoon lasts forever.
Now onto other things, I have been without a camera for over two weeks now. I heard a crash on the tile floor, and walked in to see the damage done. My camera lens was shoved sideways into the camera. It was unrepairable. I missed out on walking in on Brylee flossing her teeth and her first pee pee in the potty but other than that I think I will be able to catch up on the photo taking in no time. The good news is I got my new camera this weekend and I am back in business. So more post to come.......
